Summary
I believe the best healthcare is both patient-centered and evidence-based. My goal is to partner with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and priorities while utilizing the best available medical evidence to achieve optimal outcomes. I encourage patients to take an active role in their care and view open communication and shared decision-making as essential parts of the healthcare process.
Respect for patient autonomy is a cornerstone of my practice. I believe patients should be empowered to make informed decisions about their health, and I make it a priority to listen carefully, invite patient input, and ensure individuals understand their options. By building strong relationships with patients and serving as a trusted member of the community, I strive to provide care that is both compassionate and personalized.
I believe effective healthcare requires collaboration. I work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to treatment, helping patients receive the resources and expertise they need throughout their care journey.
My treatment philosophy is rooted in a “less is more” approach. Whenever possible, I focus on the least invasive and most effective treatments available. Surgical intervention is considered only when nonoperative measures have been exhausted and surgery offers the best opportunity to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
I chose a career in orthopedics because I wanted to apply science in a hands-on way that produces meaningful, tangible benefits for people’s lives. Helping patients regain mobility, remain active, and return to the activities they enjoy is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
My goal is to help people stay active, healthy, and pain-free for as long as possible. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through daily movement, active commuting, and exploring new places with my family.
