- Family Medicine
“I grew up in rural northern New Mexico in a town uniquely devoted to science and education. I studied at the University of California, where I spent two years in San Diego and the remainder studying abroad in South Africa and India. I had a brief career in molecular biology research before entering medical school at the University of New Mexico. For my residency training, I matched to Kootenai Clinics Family Medicine Residency in Coeur D’Alene, ID and am now board certified and happily working in academic medicine.
I feel very fortunate to have joined a highly motivated group of medical educators committed to excellence in residency education, and whom also support each other in our individual passions. My clinical practice is broad spectrum family medicine, including addiction medicine, low risk obstetrics, and rural emergency medicine. My interests in clinical medicine include Point of Care Ultrasound, physician wellness, and student based health. Outside of medicine, you will find me and my husband wrangling our son, chasing our dogs around the mountains, and swallowing large doses of humility learning how to fly fish the rivers of North Idaho. “
