Kootenai Health is a ClearBalance HealthCare Top Performer for 2021

Our Financial Counseling department has been recognized as a ClearBalance HealthCare Top Performer for 2021.

ClearBalance Top Performer awards honor health care organizations that have successfully initiated high volumes of patient debt financing and contribute to positive patient experiences. ClearBalance HealthCare provides consumer-centric financing that makes health care affordable for patients.

This is the first year Kootenai Health was eligible for this award following the 2020 adoption of ClearBalance’s patient financing program. The results are based on 2020 performance for reducing bad debt along with creating a better patient experience.

“Financial Counseling is very proud to be a ClearBalance Top Performer of 2021,” Financial Counseling and cash fund posting manager Wendy Bird said. “Working closely with ClearBalance provides more payment options, thus allowing us to better serve our patients/community.”
