Kootenai Health: Get With The Guidelines Stroke Silver Plus Awards Recipient

June 20, 2022

We're excited to announce that Kootenai Health was recently recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) with the Get With the Guidelines® Stroke Silver Plus Awards in two categories:

Stroke Honor Roll and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.

The former recognizes hospitals that have achieved door-to-needle times within 60 minutes for at least 75 percent of applicable patients. The latter aims to ensure patients with Type 2 diabetes receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care when hospitalized with cardiovascular disease or stroke.
