Darin Hayes was appointed for his first 3-year term on the Kootenai Health Inc. Board on May 7.
Darin is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager with D.A. Davidson & Co. He has been with D.A. Davidson for close to 20 years and served as Branch Manager for seven years. He believes in giving back to the community and has served on several Boards including the EXCEL Foundation, LAM Christian Academy and the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce, where he was Chairman of the Board. Darin joins the Kootenai Health Inc. Board after serving on the Kootenai Health Foundation Board for over seven years. He was a member of the Finance and Executive Committees and held the positions of Treasurer and Secretary. The Kootenai Health Foundation has been his longest term of service because of the strength of the Board, the professional staff and leadership at both the Foundation and the Hospital, and the important mission of meeting the health care needs of an ever-expanding population.
He is a northwest native and a graduate of the University of Idaho. He has lived in Coeur d’Alene for 25 years with his wife Monique. His daughter is a Lake City HS graduate and freshman at the University of Idaho.
Directors Teri Farr and Liz Godbehere, R.N., were both re-appointed to an additional three-year term.
