I chose cardiology because I became fascinated by heart physiology and cardiovascular disease during medical school. The scientific rigor of cardiovascular research, combined with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families, inspired me to pursue this specialty. Helping patients feel better, live longer, and enjoy a higher quality of life continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, spending quality time with my family, and traveling.
