Summary
Amanda Ketelsen, COTA was born and raised in Northern Idaho with a passion for helping others live their lives to the fullest. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2009 followed by pursuing a career that would combine healthcare, creativity, and direct patient care. Amanda continued her education in Occupational Therapy, graduating in 2015 from Brown Mackie College in Arizona with an associate’s degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Amanda further went on to obtain national certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), earning her title as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Although Amanda works with various populations throughout the inpatient hospital setting as well as the outpatient clinic, her passion and drive is working, serving, and attending to the pediatric population with various developmental adversities, delayed milestones, delayed fine and visual motor skills, or physical/emotional challenges.
