As a nonprofit community hospital, Kootenai Health wants to make sure every patient experience is the best it can be. One way we accomplish this is by actively soliciting feedback from patients and their families. Based on this feedback, we’ve recently made changes to print and digital materials that patients will use during their hospital stay.
Our Patient Family Advisory Council serves in an advisory capacity here at Kootenai Health and has been a major influence assisting us in improving the patient experience. Their first-hand knowledge, either through their own patient experiences or that of a loved one, has generated thoughtful recommendations for ways to provide quality care that is safe and effective, and also compassionate. Kootenai Health is on a path to continuously improve the care experience for all of our patients and their families.
We continually strive for excellence. If during your stay you find that print or digital materials are unclear or you believe that we have not provided the information you needed, please let us know. You can e-mail us at jhoerner@kh.org (Julie Hoerner, Patient Engagement Specialist) or clinder@jkh.org (Charlie Linder, Guest Services Manager) or call Guest Services at (208) 625-4639.
To relay information about a specific situation or any concerning aspect of your care in a confidential manner, please contact the Kootenai Health Patient Advocacy Department at (208) 625-4298.
