Emmi obtained her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Pacific University in 2018. Prior to moving to Oregon, Emmi grew up in Montana where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Montana State University. Emmi has experience working with both adults and children with Neurological impairments including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She has provided these services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Emmi’s Occupational Therapy passions include stroke rehabilitation and productive aging, and she focused her doctoral internship on older adults and their capacity to engage in meaningful occupations through “aging in place”. Outside of Occupational Therapy, Emmi enjoys visiting her family in Montana, mountain biking, fly-fishing and undertaking projects on her old home.
