Current Positions at Kootenai Health: Clinical pharmacist for Kootenai Behavioral Health. Russell has been instrumental in expanding pharmacy’s exposure in the behavioral health area. In addition, Russell developed Kootenai Health’s Adverse Drug Reaction Reporting (ADR) program, a program which has received special commendations from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and serves as a model for hospitals interested in enhancing their ADR programs. Russell has served as a preceptor for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Program for the University of Montana and is an Affiliate Faculty Member of Idaho State University.
Practice Interests: Psychiatry Societies and Positions Held Member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists.
Personal Summary: He has been married for over 30 years, lives in Coeur d’Alene, and has two children who are also health care professionals
